Paint a Library Study Room

Artists wanted! Want to leave your mark at Bierce Library? We are looking for individuals, student groups, or campus departments to help liven up our popular individual study rooms (https://uakron.libcal.com/spaces?lid=1578&gid=0&c=0). Several rooms have been identified as sites for colorful and vibrant murals to create an inviting and stimulating environment for studying. We'll provide you with the paint supplies (brushes, rollers, trays, tape) and the room, you bring the design, paint, and people. You can also make use of the supplies in the Craft Studio (https://libguides.uakron.edu/makerstudio), like the Cricut machine! Eligibility: Participants must be a current UA student, affiliated student group (athletic team, fraternity/sorority, club, etc.), or UA department. Must submit a design concept and the design must be approved by the University Libraries.
