Intro to Beat Making and Song Creation

Join Bobcat ArtsCare for a beginner-friendly, hands-on introduction to digital music-making tools and creative song-building. Led by Jess Fletcher, Professor of Music Therapy at Ohio University, this workshop will provide a live demonstration of how to create a beat using preexisting loops and digital audio tools. After the demonstration, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with beat making and song creation individually or in small groups. Whether you're completely new to music production or simply looking for a fun way to explore your creativity, this workshop is a chance to learn the basics!
