Discover Vinton County We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for our future Visitor's Center and the Ohio Law Enforcement Museum. You are invited to join us on Monday, November 9th at 11:00 am at 106 South Market Street, McArthur, OH - home of the former Vinton County Sheriff's Office and Ohio's first female sheriff, Maude Collins. Maude took over after her husband, Fletcher, was killed in the line of duty. She then won election in 1926 to stay on as the Vinton County Sheriff. The Vinton County Visitor's Center and Ohio Law Enforcement Museum project is made possible thanks to funding from the America 250-Ohio Commission. Facebook
