Concert Series: St. Nicholas Balalaika Orchestra

Kent Free Library The St. Nicholas Balalaika Orchestra is an all-volunteer group of dedicated amateur musicians who are drawn to the Slavic folk music that came out of the eastern European countryside of long ago. The orchestra features a variety of instruments to create its distinctive sound, including the balalaika, a triangular, lute-like folk instrument. The group's authentic costumes, instruments, and songs will take the listener on a journey to the distant past. The Concert Series is held on the 2nd floor balcony. All Ages.
