She has lectured on her work in the United States and Europe and has analyzed, consulted and been interviewed about numerous mass and serial murder cases nationally and internationally. She has served as an expert commentator on several episodes of Investigation Discovery's television series "Evil Kin" and "The Golden Age of Murder: A True Crime Podcast." Murray also serves as an academic conference keynote speaker and an expert witness for law firms in civil and criminal court cases. Additionally, she has taught a course at Scotland's University of Stirling comparing mass killings in the United States and Britain, examining prevalence, gun laws, health care and bullying.
