Medicare can be confusing, especially when it comes to knowing when to enroll and understanding the different coverage options available. This educational seminar will provide a simple overview of how Medicare works, including Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement plans, and prescription drug coverage. We'll also discuss important enrollment periods, what to consider when approaching age 65 or retiring, and some of the common questions people have when getting started with Medicare. The goal of the program is to help attendees feel more comfortable with the Medicare process and better understand the choices they may encounter. The presentation is designed for anyone who is new to Medicare, preparing for Medicare in the near future, or simply wants a clearer understanding of their coverage options. This program is presented by Daniel Macinga, RN and Healthcare Specialist. This program is free of cost and open to the public. Registration is required. To register, please fill out the form below. For registration assistance, please call Salem Public Library at 330-332-0042.
