Thrifty Move - In

Thrifty Move-In has a goal is to reduce unmet needs, alleviate undue student stress and promote sustainability by providing students with basic household items and support. Set yourself up for success by starting off the school year with the right resources at home. Our Thrifty Move-In day will support students with items such as: Kitchen utensils, cookware, dinnerware, flatware, pots/pans, small appliances (blenders, mixers, toasters, etc), cleaning products, furniture items (ex: chairs, end tables, etc.) and more! NOTE: Items are new and gently used. FREE lunch is included while supplies last.Students will need to check-in upon arrival to the event, each student will be provided tickets to "purchase" items with, items are while supplies last, unfortunately due to the magnitude of the students we are trying to serve we cannot hold items. We would like to encourage students to bring totes to carry away items.Don't forget to sign up for FREE roundtrip shuttles to IKEA for your shopping needs! Buses depart from Campus Green transit row starting at 9:30 am with the last bus departing for Ikea at 2:45 pm. Also enjoy your FREE lunch provided by DiBella's! IKEA is providing FREE transportation to and from campus to help you purchase the items you need.
