Few artists in history have been more influential in shaping mainstream jazz music than Horace Silver. Known for injecting funky, bluesy, soul-oriented fabric into his compositions, Silver moved jazz back into the toe-tapping, swinging structure that landed him the longest-running recording contract ever at the fabled Blue Note recording label. This performance will be recorded live!
