Rehearsals begin Sunday, September 13 and performance dates are October 15, 16, and 17, 2026. If you are cast, expect to rehearse Monday through Thursday evenings, as well as Sunday afternoons, for 3 to 4 hours.ABOUT THE PLAY:Dynamo starts out as a modern Romeo and Juliet story, with lovers from two households battling against the prejudices of their families: one household devoutly religious, and the other household dedicatedly atheist. The drama soon spirals, however, into a young man's journey into rebellion and madness, as he dedicates himself to a force that brings science and spirituality together - the Goddess of Electricity. The play is from O'Neill's Expressionist period, with characters revealing their inner thoughts to the audience and the plot twisting in sudden and unexpected ways.WHAT TO PREPARE: A two-minute monologue of your choice, of any style, genre, or time period. Something that you like to perform and feel confident doing.
