While both proponents and detractors provide ample supporting evidence, both concede the immensity of the undertaking and fundamental change to federal power. In the eleventh installment of the Great Depression Lecture Series, we will explore where the New Deal succeeded and where it failed. In doing so, we will come to a more nuanced understanding of one of the most consequential periods in modern American history This is the eleventh installment in the Great Depression Lecture Series, an America 250 program. This is a Wood County Park District lead event, in partnership with the Wood County Museum.
