For many, it was more expensive and more elusive than once was. For most, however, the economic conditions thrusted upon them radically altered traditional ingredients and recipes. In this tenth installment of the Great Depression Lecture Series, we will explore the changing nature of the American culinary landscape throughout the 1930s. In doing so, we will see many differences but also many striking similarities to our modern diets. This is the tenth installment in the Great Depression Lecture Series, an America 250 program. This is a Wood County Park District lead event, in partnership with the Wood County Museum.
