Join us for a meet & greet with the 2026 OHIO Alumna of the Year and family justice advocate Yvette McGee Brown, Esq. On Friday, Oct. 9, from 9:30 a.m. To 11 a.m. In the Center for Law, Justice & Culture, Bentley 001. McGee Brown has four decades of experience in law and public service including a term on the Supreme Court of Ohio from 2011 to 2012. She was the first African American woman to serve on the Ohio Supreme Court and now serves as Partner-in-Charge for Inclusion and Advancement at the global law firm Jones Day. She continues to serve on boards across various disciplines such as Nationwide Children's Hospital, M/I Homes, Encova Insurance, and The Jeffrey Company, and has also taken on governance roles for Ohio University in the past including the Board of Trustees and Bicentennial Campaign Advisory Board.
