Fire Prevention Week is observed during the week of October 9th, which is to commemorate the anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, which took place in 1871. Join us and learn the sounds of fire safety. Come and meet the men and women in our community who protect us. Stations will be set up for you to explore all that it takes to be a firefighter and EMS. You even get to sit in the truck! So join us and learn all about fire safety and prevention.
