From Gao Hong's vibrant Celebration, Percy Grainger's heartfelt Colonial Song and Donald Grantham's dance-infused J'ai été au bal to Carlos Simon's powerful reimagining of the spiritual Sweet Chariot, each work reshapes song, dance and folk material into an original composition.
