Carve your Path: Career Exploration & Connection

October 14th, 2026 - Carve your Path Activity: LWiB members will come together to learn about career exploration, professional development, and the importance of building meaningful relationships throughout college. The presentation will ultimately tie in points that relate to this year's theme, "Own your Voice". The event will include an educational discussion and reflection question, a community service opportunity, and a pumpkin carving networking activity that allow members to connect with one another in a relaxed environment. Room: Sigma Sigma Commons Food: ● Apple cider ● Hot chocolate ● Pumpkin Cookies Attire: Casual Fall Attire Breakdown:HR Team will purchase pumpkins, carving tools, and supplies prior to the event. Carving stations will be arranged in the event space, along with a refreshment area for snacks and drinks. Members will learn from a presentation about career exploration, professional development, and the importance of building meaningful relationships throughout college; followed by time for a reflection question. Following, members will carve pumpkins and enjoy fall treats while getting the chance to practice building meaningful relationships with other members. At the conclusion of the event, the team will facilitate cleanup of all carving materials, pumpkin scraps, and event decorations, ensuring the space is returned to its original condition.
