Summer Book Sale

Celebrate the America's semiquincentennial with the Wooster Friends of the Library at the Summer Book Sale. Deals will explode beginning on July 16 in the "Book Cellar" of the Operations Center, 304 Larwill Ave, Wooster. The sale runs from 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday and Friday, July 17 and 18; and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, July 19. Friends of the Library are invited to the members-only preview on Wednesday, July 16, from 5-7 pm. The "Book Cellar" is packed with adult mystery, science fiction, and electronic media. For this all-American sale, all adult hardback books sell for 50 cents each; audio books, 25 cents; DVDs, 10 cents; paperback books, 25 cents. Young adult hardcover fiction books will set off the fireworks, along with a huge celebration of picture books. In addition, this red-white-and-blue sale unfurls games and puzzles for $3 On Thursday, July 17; $2 on July 18; and $1 on July 19. Special fireworks will pop on hard-cover American Heritage magazines and annual commemorative stamp collections, among other values. The explosion of this all-American sale will conclude with bag day on Saturday, from 9 am to 2 pm. Book dealers with electronic devices are welcome on Friday and Saturday.
