11th Annual National Night Out/ Touch-A-Truck

Sandusky's 11th Annual Night Out Touch-A-Truck event returns to the Paper District Marina on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM! The event is free and open to everyone. Touch-A-Truck gives kids and families a chance to get up close with real utility, emergency, and specialty vehicles from across Erie County and beyond. Climb in, explore, and talk with the professionals who use them every day. Dozens of vehicles fill the Paper District Marina every year-- fire trucks, police cruisers, construction equipment, utility trucks, cranes, and more. Beyond the trucks, there's many more family-friendly activities to take part in. Kids can hit the inflatables, pick up giveaways, and take part in activities from local agencies and organizations. Vendors from across Erie County set up displays.
