Bats of Ohio

Inspired by the final weeks of the outdoor garden sculpture exhibit, Glass in Flight 2, join Jason Whittle, biologist at Summit Metro Parks and Chief Science Officer of Summit Ecological Consulting, to first learn about bats of Ohio, their importance in the ecosystem, how they are monitored, and threats to bat populations. Then head outdoors as he brings us up close and personal with these amazing flying mammals living in the diverse habitats at Kingwood. Please dress for the weather.
