UA Internship & Career Fair

Career Fair Information: The UA Internship & Career Fair is free to students and alumni from The University of Akron seeking internships, co-ops, and full-time jobs. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not required. Registration begins in August 2026. Pre-Fair Preparation:Bring plenty of copies of your resume to distribute to employers. We encourage you to have your resume reviewed by Career Services prior to the week of the fair. Resume Reviews, Mock Interviews, and Career Fair Prep Appointments are available in-person in Career Services (Student Union Room 211), or virtually, Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, by scheduling an appointment with your Career Services Advisor on Handshake, or by calling 330.972.7747 or emailing career@uakron.edu. Business dress is encouraged (Examples: Dress pants or skirts in a neutral color. Blouses, button-ups, and ties in conservative colors or patterns. Business jacket, sweater, or vest may be worn. Closed-toe shoes). Students are welcome to borrow a suit jacket at no cost from The Career Closet in the Career Center, Student Union #211. We recommend that you stop by to borrow a jacket a few days prior to the event.
