Pioneer Workshop: Candle Making
Tiffin Seneca Public Library Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host "Pioneer Workshop: Candle Making" on Monday, July 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.In early America, families relied on candle making for survival, as candles provided essential light for cooking, chores, and work after dark. In this hands-on workshop, learn the basics of historic candle making and create your own candle to take home!Space is limited, so registration is required by visiting the online calendar at www.tiffinsenecalibrary.org or by calling (419) 447-3751. This program is free and open to all adults. This is the latest in a series of Pioneer Workshops aimed to evoke the self-sufficient lifestyle of early Americans in the 1700 and 1800s in celebration of America 250.
