During the summer of 1976, as the United States celebrated its 200th anniversary, Handelman captured scenes of Downtown Cleveland on film. The photographs featured in this exhibit include recent acquisitions to the Library's Photograph Collection and offer a look back 50 years at the crowded streetscapes, businesses, and monuments of Downtown Cleveland.
