Community Book Club: Maid
We are bringing people together to explore books that spark conversations about issues affecting our community. Each session pairs a thought-provoking book with a local nonprofit, organization, or community partner to provide local perspective and connection. This month, along with Partners in Hope, we will discuss Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive by Stephanie Land. Together, we'll explore themes of motherhood, resilience, poverty, work, and the challenges of building a better life. Come ready for an engaging conversation, different perspectives, and a welcoming space to connect with fellow readers and community members. ► Books for discussion are available at the library, or try Libby on your favorite device to download a digital copy!
