SAA x PennOhio Clay Guild Art Workshop-- Mud and Mingle

Meet people, get messy, and make something! Come join Student Art Association (SAA) in collaboration with our friends at the PennOhio Clay Guild (POCG), a 501(c)(3) ceramics studio based in New Castle, PA, to create your own trinket dish, mini vessel, or unique art piece! Students will get access to clay and have the ability to create whatever they like, whether it be functional, figurative, or both! Experiment with texture, shape, and learn new ways to work with clay! At the end, paint your ceramics using underglaze. No experience is needed, just creativity, openness to learning, and a love for art! If this isn't enough for you, SAA will also be hosting a mini, surprise pop-up ceramics sale, a great way to buy specialty ceramics in time for the holidays! Come support the arts on campus and have a blast creating ceramics to enjoy! 25 spots available via RSVP, spots are available on a first-come first-serve basis. We are asking for $25 per student on a donate-if-you-can basis. 18+ only, valid ID required for entry. All pieces will be bisque-fired and glaze-fired (with a clear coat) here at YSU. Pieces are to be picked up from the Art Office on the 4th floor of Bliss Hall. An email will be sent to all participants once firings are complete. Pieces will remain in the art office for 2 weeks upon notification, then relocated. Please pick up pieces ASAP upon notification! --- Event Details:
