The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service and regional community partners are proud to announce the September OHIO Thrift Market - a day-long sustainable shopping event - that will take place Friday, Sep. 18 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. On the Morton Hall Field (South Beach). The event is a collaborative effort between the Voinovich School, Ohio University Campus Recycling and their local partners, which include Goodwill of South Central Ohio, Little Wing Curiosity Shoppe & Thrift Store and Rural Action's social enterprise known as UpCycle. Each one of these partners share a commitment to sustainability, affordability, and building a stronger community. The OHIO Thrift Market offers affordable, secondhand finds for dorms, apartments and wardrobes as well as a chance to spend time with friends and the OHIO community.
