Paint Me a Story - A Highland Halloween

Join us for a very special "Paint Me a Story: Highland Halloween" on Saturday, October 31. This fun and creative workshop combines art and literacy for kids of all ages and includes an opportunity to meet a real-life Highland Calf! There are two sessions available: 9 am to 11 am and 12 pm to 2 pm. We are thrilled to have Tim Schimming as our guest reader, along with his adorable Highland calf and special guest, Huckleberry - the wee coo! Huckleberry is an absolutely beautiful mini moo-moo and will be available for meet-and-greets and a unique photo opportunity. The event kicks off with Tim reading "Fiona the Fluffy Highland Cow: A Magical Journey Through the Scottish Highlands," a beautifully illustrated children's book that takes your child on an adventure through lush landscapes and charming characters. Fiona's journey is filled with delightful encounters, teaching her the value of teamwork and the true magic of friendship. Following story time, participants will paint a delightful ceramic highland cow as a memorable keepsake from the event. During the pottery painting, everyone will have the opportunity to take photos with Huckleberry. Delicious apple cider and popcorn will be served as treats. The cost is $30 (non-refundable) per person. Registration is required by October 30. All ages are welcome, but due to limited seating, we ask that only one adult accompany each child. Please note that this event is on Halloween. Although there will be activities in downtown Fre
