Navigating the Night Sky and Sunset Hike

Learn about stars, planets, and constellations with The Wilderness Center's Astronomy Club as they navigate the night sky. Practice using telescopes and learn how to navigate the stars during different seasons! Feel free to bring your own equipment (telescopes, binoculars, cameras, etc.). Registration is required but, if the weather is cloudy, the Astronomy Club will not be onsite. A Stark Parks Naturalist will lead a night hike that will start at 8:00p in the parking lot. The evening hike will start at 8 pm prior to the astronomy program. If the sky is cloudy the Astronomy Club will not be onsite, but the hike will occur rain or shine.
