Creative Writing Group

Girard Free Library We are all storytellers. Do you want to learn how to tell your stories through creative writing? Join the Creative Writing Group to analyze writing and passages while workshopping our own writing. In our bi-weekly meetings you will not only learn and grow as a writer, you will find a community of storytellers, too!Meeting-to-meeting we will discuss various literature, analyze these authors' work, and talk about all things writing - genre, plot, sentence structure, character, and more - all while doing creative exercises, practicing with writing prompts, and working on personal large-scale projects. This group is meant to be a space for writers to gather to learn more about the craft while also bringing in our own work to receive feedback on. Come prepared with your preferred writing tools, every-other Saturday.Registration is required for this adult program.
