Paddle the River

Get on the water and explore the beauty of the Blanchard River during a guided kayak trip. Start at Eastpoint Area and paddle upriver to Vogelsong Conservation Area and the pedestrian bridge at State Route 568 and back. Along the way, look for turtles, ducks, geese, herons, eagles, deer, and other wildlife. For those who are new to kayaking, staff will teach the basics, such as how to paddle and how to enter and exit the boat. Kayaks, paddles, and personal floatation devices will be provided.
