Nature Book Club

This month's selection: A Walk in the Park by Kevin Fedarko Program Presenter: Summer Wohlfrom, Naturalist at Buck Creek State Park In partnership with the naturalist Summer Wohlfrom at Buck Creek State Park, the Northridge Branch is excited to continue to host a nature book club. How does it work? Summer will select a book title for participants to read before the meeting. At the meeting, Summer will discuss the book's topic with participants as well as lead a fun activity based on the topic. A very limited number of each title will be available to check out through the Clark County Public Library. Participants are encouraged to source the titles by other means if necessary. For adults. Summer has been a Naturalist since May 2024. She has a degree in Wildlife Conservation from Zane State College. Summer has worked at The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium as a volunteer, interpreter and zookeeper, in the education department at The Wilds and volunteered with Ohio Nature Education, taking care of birds of prey and mammals. She's very passionate about outdoor education, animal care and bringing the community together!
