Conviction Integrity Unit Case Review Workshop

Join Ohio University alumnus Tom Costello, Esq. For an interactive workshop examining wrongful conviction cases and the work of Conviction Integrity Units. Participants will explore real-world case review methods, discuss factors that contribute to wrongful convictions, and learn how attorneys, investigators, and advocates evaluate claims of innocence. This hands-on program offers students interested in law, criminal justice, public policy, and social justice an opportunity to engage directly with issues at the intersection of law and justice while gaining insight into post-conviction review processes. The event is sponsored by the Center for Law, Justice & Culture and OIP-u and is open to all Ohio University students, faculty, staff, and community members.
