Guided Tours: Islander Woods and Trailhead

The Park District of Ottawa County is commemorating the grand opening of its debut park, Islander Woods and Trailhead, with Guided Tours led by Executive Director Jannah Wilson. Tours will be held at 2 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5 pm Friday, July 24, at Islander Woods and Trailhead, located at 3655 N.W. Catawba Rd., Port Clinton, 43452. No registration is needed, and tours are free and open to all ages. The new 7.6-acre park is the Park District of Ottawa County's debut park property and will provide visitors with a variety of amenities including a boardwalk loop trail, a nature play area, picnic tables, interpretive signage, a water fountain and bottle refill station, and more.
