Summer Camp: "Make-A-Book"

Make-A-Book: Reading, Writing, and Illustration Camp Dates: July 13 - 17, 2026 9 a.m. to Noon Deadline to Register: July 6 Cost: $200 This fun, hands-on camp helps kids entering grades 3-6 build their reading and writing skills while exploring their creativity. Throughout the week, campers will learn what it's like to be a real author and illustrator. They will read short stories, practice writing their own ideas, and create artwork to go with their words. Over five half-days, campers take part in 15 engaging lessons that guide them from brainstorming to making a finished, bound book. At the end of the week, they'll share their work in a friendly read-aloud celebration. This camp is great for all kids - confident readers and writers as well as those who could use extra support. Everyone will leave proud of what they created! Register by June 30, 2026 to guarantee your requested T shirt size. Late registrations received by the deadline (July 6) will guarantee a spot at camp, but may not receive a camp T shirt due to ordering and delivery timelines.
