Collegium Musicum & Early Music Singers Concert
Join the CWRU Historical Performance Practice Program's Collegium Musicum and Early Music Singers, under the direction of Dr. Elena Mullins Bailey, for an evening of music commemorating the 400th anniversary of the death of English composer John Dowland (1563-1626). Renowned for his extraordinary ability to capture the beauty and depth of melancholy, Dowland created some of the most expressive music of the English Renaissance. Fyer and Teares celebrates his enduring legacy while exploring the full spectrum of human emotion - from sorrow and longing to passion and joy - through works by Dowland and his English contemporaries.
