Homeschool Science Fair

Attention homeschoolers! Have you been wanting to participate in a science fair but don't know where to start? Look no further as the homeschool science fair is back for a second year at the Bedford branch library. The focus is on researching, experimenting, designing, and having FUN while learning about science. Science Fair Guidelines: Students must select a science fair topic of interest for their project. A good science fair project idea is one that asks a clear scientific question that can be answered through experimentation or identifies a problem that can be solved using engineering. Students must follow the scientific method or the engineering design process for their project. See attached file for an overview of these processes. All research, experiments, and data collection are to be complete prior to the science fair. The library has a variety of resources to help with your project, such as online databases, printing services, and of course, books! Create a display board and/or presentation that details what you did, shows your data, and presents your conclusions to display at the science fair. Notes: 6 foot tables and chairs will be provided.
