Dayton Stamp Club's AIRPEX 2026 Show
Dayton Stamp Club holding AIRPEX 2026 stamp show, Aug. 21-22. AIRPEX 2026, hosted by the Dayton Stamp Club, is Aug. 21-22 at the Emerge Center, 2960 W. Enon Rd., Xenia. Show hours are 12 p.m. To 6 p.m. On Friday and 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. On Saturday. There are 17 stamp dealers this year as well as displays of non-competitive exhibits by club members. Admission and parking are free. The club held its first annual philatelic exhibition in 1976 at the Dayton Convention Center, designated DAYTON AIRPEX I. A special envelope honoring the inventor of the first Army helicopter was sold for $1.50 in conjunction with the show. AIRPEX I was described in newspaper coverage at the time as "unique," because it featured only air mail stamps and stamps honoring aviation. Directions: From the north, take I-675 south to Exit 22. Take Route 235 for 4.8 miles and turn onto West Enon Road. From the south, take I-675 to Exit 20. Take Dayton-Yellow Springs Road for 1.8 miles and turn onto West Enon Road. Park behind the building. There will be signage to direct visitors. Stamp club meetings start at 6 p.m. For socializing and silent auctions, 7 p.m. For the regular meetings. The location is Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd. In Kettering. The meeting room is on the third floor with elevator access. Guests are always welcome.
