Mosaic Pumpkin

Join our class on Friday, October 9, from 6 to 8 pm, to create a stunning and festive mosaic pumpkin. In this enjoyable and artistic session, you'll craft your own unique mosaic using ceramic tiles and stones (tesserae) on a wooden pumpkin-shaped cutout measuring 7" wide x 6" high, with an additional 1 1/2" wooden stem. After adhering the pieces, you'll take your mosaic pumpkin home to finish the grouting process. This step is crucial as the pumpkin needs 24 to 48 hours to dry, ensuring the adhesive sets properly and the tiles remain secure for grouting. Once completed, you'll have a vibrant, textured mosaic pumpkin perfect for autumn decor or as a thoughtful gift. No prior experience is required; our expert instructor Joni Hasselbach will provide step-by-step guidance. The class fee is $25 per person and is non-refundable. This price includes a wooden pumpkin cutout, tiles, stones, adhesive for the mosaic design, and, to complete your piece, a take-home kit with grout, gloves, a bowl, and a sponge. Feel free to bring food and drinks, and those 21 and older may bring wine or other creativity enhancers. Registration must be completed by October 8.
