Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison: The Many Meanings of A Mercy

YSU's Dr. Luke Hardy, Dr. Dolores Sisco, and Dr. Laura Beadling will look at Toni Morrison's brief but rich novel A Mercy , set in early Colonial America, from different perspectives, including historical, medical, cultural, religious, and more. They will lead a discussion of the book and some key passages in order to appreciate Morrison's power and beauty. Light refreshments will be served. To ensure access to the widest audience of interested community members, the library is restricting overlapping program registrations. Any individual registering themselves for multiple programs in a similar timeframe, will be removed from all registrations. Please only register for the program you are most interested in attending.
