Tataki Zome - Flower Tote Bag

Within this program, learn the art and history of tataki zome. This skill is an ancient Japanese natural dyeing technique in which transfers the natural color pigments from flowers and leaves onto material. Using a hammer and real flowers to complete this project, the colors will imprint onto a canvas tote. All materials will be provided by the library. To ensure access to the widest audience of interested community members, the library is restricting overlapping program registrations. Any individual registering themselves for multiple programs in a similar timeframe, will be removed from all registrations. Please only register for the program you are most interested in attending.
