Coal Museum Open House

Everyone is welcome to join us for a special Open House at the Harrison County History of Coal Museum, located in the lower level of the Puskarich Public Library. Staff and retired miners will be available at this event to provide guided tours of the Museum, answer your questions, and help you find information. There will be hands-on activities for all ages and photo opportunities. We can also provide you with our hundreds of free local resources about the Coal Industry in our area, including photographs, newspapers, videos, and magazines. Experience displays that bring local history to life! Whether you have coal mining in your local history or want to learn more about the Coal Mining Industry, you won't want to miss this event! This event is part of the Ohio History Connection Ohio Open Doors program.
