Ravenna Scarecrow Contest (on display through Oct 31)

The Ravenna Scarecrow Contest is back this year, and scarecrows will be on public display from October 2nd to October 31st. Contest Rules are shown below, or you may download the participation/contest entry form and rules. Contest Rules: Contest is open to individuals, businesses, /organizations, and schools. Scarecrows may be made from any material that the contestant chooses but must use a T -frame PVC pipe kit purchased from It's All Fine (6560 N Chestnut St. Ravenna). You may use a kit previously purchased and may keep your kit to reuse in future years. Please keep in mind: the scarecrow will be displayed outdoors during the contest and should be designed to withstand the autumn weather. Contestants shall provide the materials necessary to build the scarecrow. All scarecrows shall be appropriate for public viewing: no adult, political or excessively gory themes allowed. All scarecrows should be in good taste, any scarecrow deemed distasteful or against these rules will not be accepted into the contest and/or will be removed from viewing. Contestants must provide any materials needed to display the scarecrow. Drop Off: all scarecrows need to be dropped off with a completed and signed entry form by September 26, 2026.
