Quilting Block Perler Bead Tin Can

Join the Local Historians at the Scioto County Public Library for an afternoon of creating colorful, quilt blocked tin cans! The cans can be used as small planters or a nice place to put your pens and pencils. We would love to have you as we discuss the barn quilt movement in the Ohio River Valley. We will be creating traditional quilt patterns with perler beads. Using flat irons and wax sheeting to mold and wrap the designs around a tin can. You will leave with your own piece of local history. Come, learn, and participate in the quilting culture of our region!
