We all know when we see (or it might be more accurate to say feel) a suspenseful moment in a film, but what is film suspense? It's the opposite of mystery, and it's not really a genre, since musicals, comedies, Westerns, and adventure films can be suspenseful. We'll look at this question as we consider clips from a few films, and take a lesson from the "Master of Suspense" himself, Alfred Hitchcock. --- Event Details:
