Lapidary Bookmark

Learn how to cut, shape, and polish a flat stone slab into a cabochon, which is then attached to a metal bookmark blank. Participants learn basic stone-trimming, grinding wheel safety, and polishing techniques to create a functional, hand-crafted art piece. Space is limited. Our classes teach equipment use and techniques. Previous participants may be waitlisted to prioritize new learners. Intermediate computer skills required. Cancellation Policy: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows result in a two-month registration suspension. Arriving 15 minutes late counts as a no-show and you will not be admitted.
