Instead you find a note: "Dear Detective, I have encountered the most peculiar problem. A valuable secret has been hidden somewhere within this room. Unfortunately, my investigation has been interrupted, and I fear the evidence will not remain undisturbed for long. I have arranged everything you need to solve the mystery. Observe carefully.
