Landing Zone 2: OU Veterans in Transition
Format: Online (Teams) Facilitator: Ray Dixson, Assistant Director of Veterans and Military Student Services Landing Zone Training is a four-hour professional development program designed for Ohio University faculty and staff who are committed to supporting student veterans and military-connected students. The program builds understanding of the unique challenges veterans face when transitioning from military service to college. Topics include military culture, GI Bill® considerations, the impacts of PTSD and TBI on learning, and campus and community resources available to support student success. The training consists of four one-hour sessions, or "zones," with each building on the last. Participants are encouraged to attend the Zones in order. Please click a link to register for a workshop.
