Community Development and Finance Committees Meeting

City Council Community Development Committee and Finance Committee meetings are held at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers, Elyria City Hall, 131 Court Street. The Community Development Committee considers matters relating to regional planning, the elimination by redevelopment of substandard areas of the City, the purchase, construction, repair, control and disposition of municipal buildings, lands, and parking lots, and the regulation of building and land use, including zoning, platting, the act of vacating, and enforcement of Building Codes. The Finance Committee Considers matters relating to finances and various funds of the City, sources of revenue, authorization of expenditures, payment of personal services and claims.
