Clay Hand Building Workshop

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION IS FREE AND REQUIRED BY SEPTEMBER 25; HOWEVER, GUESTS WILL PAY FOR THEIR CLAY UPON ARRIVAL AT THE WORKSHOP ON SEPTEMBER 26. Join us for a creative Clay Hand Building Workshop on Saturday, September 26, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm to discover the craft of hand-building with clay. This workshop welcomes adults and children aged 10 and above, with no prior experience needed - no pottery wheel required. Our expert instructor, Cindy, will guide you through the techniques of hand-building with clay. Participants can craft unique, handmade pieces such as clay pots, figurines, dishes, and more, using their imagination and creativity. The fee is $15 per person for 1 pound of clay or $25 per person for 2 pounds of clay, and includes one kiln firing. Completed items will be fired within two weeks. Guests can then return to paint their pieces with acrylics at no extra cost and no additional firing, or they can opt to glaze their item(s), which requires a second firing and an extra fee of $15 per item; this fee is payable upon item pickup.
