"Make Your Own Bookmark" with artist Mikee Huber

Join abstract artist Mikee Huber in this hands-on, fun, and instructive bookmark-making workshop. Materials will be provided, including prepainted abstract bookmarks and paint markers, and participants can add their lines to them. The workshop is free, but registration is required to ensure adequate seating and materials. For adults and children ages 8 . Mikee Huber was most recently featured at the Woodbourne Library Art Gallery with her one-person show "The Rhythm of Making." Using mixed materials, she creates abstract acrylic paintings. Her work develops through an intuitive, process-driven approach, in which she builds layers over time and adjusts the piece as it evolves. Inspired by nature, memory, music, and everyday experience, Huber explores balance, movement, and mood through a mix of abstract forms, bold gestures, and structured elements.
