Culture, Community & Connection Photography Exhibit
At the Storytelling Institute, we have been busy this summer preparing this year's Culture, Community & Connection Photography Exhibit, celebrating the perspectives and visual stories of Ohio University's international students. At Ohio University, students from around the world bring their histories, traditions, and ways of seeing into conversation with life here in Athens. Through this year's photographs, we travel from Lahore's Badshahi Mosque to the rivers of Bangladesh, and back to Athens, where community flourishes on the football field, at the Student Farm, on Court Street, and at Strouds Run. Together, these images celebrate culture in daily life and invite us to explore the places, relationships, and experiences that shape our sense of identity and belonging. We would like to warmly invite you to join us for the opening reception and enjoy an evening of photography, conversation, and shared perspectives. Please feel free to extend this invitation to students, colleagues, and others across the university who may be interested. 📅 Thursday, August 27, 2026 ⏰ 5:00 p.m. 📍 The Front Room Coffeehouse Baker University Center Light refreshments will be served. Thank you for your support. We hope to celebrate culture, community, and connection with you! Cheers,The Storytelling Institute team
