Touch Grass: Sustainable Connections Post-Study Abroad

Did you know that the average economy flight between the US and Europe geneates approximately 2 metric tonnes of carbon? To minimize that, you would need to avoid driving a car for a year and a half or become a vegetarian for over 2 years! While we can't promise to completely offset international travel, this is a small step in that direction. We're going to work with the Purple Oasis Garden, which is within walking distance of campus. We'll help plant, weed, sow, and more, while telling stories from our study abroad, connecting with others that have had similar experience and, of course, help the environment!
